Conquering Depression

Conquering Depression

Feeling depressed is one of the most unpleasant things that people can go through. It is so hard when everything seems negative and difficult, and you just don't have the hope, confidence or energy to haul yourself out of the emotional swamp of depression. Depression can make you feel sad, angry and hopeless. It can make you feel anxious too.  If you're like most people you have a little (or big) voice in your head that is toxic and critical to everybody and everything, including you. To be consumed with depression is heartbreaking, and can color every area of your life.

You don't have to suffer like this.

I know that getting into therapy can be a big deal, and represent a significant investment of time and money. I wanted to make it easier for you to get help. I designed this eight-week program that represents the "Best Of" what I teach clients in therapy about how to find strength, take power back, and Conquer Depression.

Wisdom. Strength. Skills. Power.

Over the course of this eight week program, I will help you find the power and strength to fight back against Depression. The way this program works is that every week you will listen to an audio “session” with me where you will spend 45-60 minutes being led through an inner vision.

During your sessions you will have powerful new experiences that will help empower you from the inside out. You will learn practical skills to fight back against Depression in your day-to-day life. All sessions include follow up assignments, consisting of activities to enhance your learning and practice your skills. You'll also get companion recordings, and Word Documents that you can write directly in as you answer questions, journal, and process the things you learn in your sessions. These insights, lessons and assignments are very similar to the work that you would do in therapy with me.

Over the course of this program you will learn what Depression is and how to recognize it in yourself. You will learn how to fight back against it in practical ways, develop compassionate strategies for helping yourself, and mobilize parts of yourself that will protect you from Depression. At the end of eight weeks, you will have tools and strategies to help yourself Conquer Depression and start feeling good again.

My caveat: This is NOT therapy. I designed this program to be helpful for people struggling with feelings of mild to moderate depression. If you are experiencing severe depressive symptoms (can't function, thinking of suicide, etc.) then you need more support than this program can provide. If you would like to try it anyway, I would encourage you to share these materials with your current therapist to see if they might be appropriate for you to do together.

If, for any reason, at any point in the future, you decide that you don't completely love this program let me know and I'll return all your money immediately-- no questions asked." --Lisa

I believe this is a fastidious program you have discussed here for conquering depression. A good start to beating depression is to first recognize that you have a problem and seek help, find out what sort of depression you might be suffering from, which will help you to better understand this sickness and get you that much closer to knowing exactly what you necessitate to do to strike this disease!
