Why do bad things happen? This is a question that is often asked by my therapy clients, especially after they have faced difficulties in their personal lives or observed the suffering of others.  Even with my expertise as a Denver therapist and life coach, I don’t know. But I do know that all of our life experiences, when used intentionally, can help us create more peace, love, and empathy.  If you are interested in increasing your emotional intelligence or are craving some positive changes in your life, you may just be inspired by others who have offered us insight into the key elements of peace, love, and empathy, especially when faced with pain or suffering. Being able to express empathy is a beautiful gift that allows us to hear, understand and connect with others.
