Hi, I’m Ari.
Ari Kipnis, M.S.W., LCSW
Expert Marriage Counseling
As a marriage counselor and relationship coach who is available online (and in person) I help couples all over the world have stronger, happier and healthier relationships. I can help you improve communication and overcome larger relationship challenges including increasing intimacy and passion, rebuilding trust, managing financial difficulties, unifying parenting differences, supporting each other through life transitions, navigating in-law relationships, negotiating household responsibilities and reconciling cultural differences.
My expertise lies in helping couples resolve the “stuck points” of conflict while simultaneously increasing trust, respect, affection, understanding and collaboration. I believe relationships grow when you strengthen your love, and have fun together. Whether you’ve only been together a short while or for many years, my goal is to help you both deepen your emotional connection and build a mutually satisfying partnership throughout the entire course of your relationship.
Positive, Productive Therapy and Life Coaching
As an individual therapist and life coach, I work with men and women searching for personal transformation. I can help you step into the life you’ve imagined for yourself. These transformations can include achieving goals such as finding the love you want, or earning that career promotion, or might involve overcoming self-doubt, eliminating worry or letting go of the past. I often help people learn how to overcome the anxiety, anger, depression, or trauma that has been holding them back.
My goal is to help you feel happier, reconnect you with the power of your core self, and tap into the authentic part of you that lives clearly, fearlessly and lovingly.
I believe that each person’s situation and relationship is unique and so finding a therapist that understands, and with whom you connect, is personal. I’ll be the first to acknowledge that it can feel intimidating to share the privacies of your personal life with someone else and I know how important it is to navigate these moments with an ally who is accepting, empathetic and supportive.
I’ve been told that my professional style is warm, approachable, “safe feeling” and collaborative. I offer a space where you feel safe to explore all parts of yourself while providing transformative strategies tailored to suit your needs for successful living.
My approach to therapy is informed and enriched by my personal journey, my professional training and collective experience. While I was born and raised on the east coast, my family background originates from South America. Though I am not Hispanic, I am fluent in Spanish and very familiar with the cultures of Central and South America.
I’ve lived abroad including studying in Canada and living Israel and have spent the past ten years working in New York City where I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Yeshiva University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both New York and Colorado, and I am passionate about continuously learning advanced therapeutic techniques. I apply an integrative approach to my practice including Cognitive Processing Therapy, Ackerman Relational Model andother evidence-based techniques.
If you have questions about my qualifications or would like to learn more about what it would be like to work together schedule a free consultation with me. I am available on Mondays, Wednesday evenings and Friday mornings at our Denver Colorado office location. I am also available to meet with you nationally and internationally through online video.
