Hey there! My name is Elise and my passion is helping you find your truth and change the world through living your authentic purpose. My spirit of adventure and bright smile are two things that accompany me wherever I go, so as a career counselor, life coach and individual therapist, you can expect my positivity and motivating energy to help you build the life you want!

Inspired, Strategic Career Coaching

While working with me, you can expect a fun and collaborative environment where we uncover and celebrate your talents, helping you feel at your best. I love being able to understand your perspective in order to provide insight and identify successful ways for you to accomplish your goals. I take care to listen deeply and with compassion because I value you feeling genuinely seen and heard while in session with me. And, I will always check in with you to ensure we’re on track with what you’re hoping to accomplish in our time together.

If you are more focused on career work, we can work together to identify your strengths, values, interests, talents, and aptitudes as you explore how you want to make an impact in the world. I’m easily able to hone in on opportunities for you to consider while also allowing you a safe space to explore who you are and what you want to do. I also love working on resumes to help you truly stand out from the crowd and showcase all you have to offer. Or, once you’ve landed an interview, I’m your go-to person for help in preparing to knock it out of the park!

Empowering Therapy and Life Coaching

I am ready to help you get unstuck and move forward confidently. This can take many shapes when you work with me: I am a trained counselor and therapist, an encouraging coach by nature, and a certified career counselor. With my unique training and innate ability to focus our work together on what is most helpful for you, I want to be able to chat about your career goals, but also any other challenges you’re facing – no matter the circumstance.

A life lived for your authentic purpose begs for us to explore all aspects of who you are. And, I recognize that life can get messy and we can’t put things into individual boxes, so my goal when I work with you is to allow all of those things to live in harmony with one another so you can find ultimate happiness in all areas of your life. Call me a generalist who also specializes in career work! I view you holistically and want to help you no matter what concerns you bring to the table; it’s all part of your story and that is important to me.

I assist you by seeing and developing the strengths you innately have. I’ll help you get out of your comfort zone to experience what life has to offer and allow you the space to realize your potential, reflect on who you are, and then bring those intersections together to identify your unique path and next steps. I am also passionate about understanding your identities and experiences to serve you with social justice in mind.

So, let’s work together to find your path to happiness in all areas of your life! Whether you’re recently graduated, wanting to explore career options, find yourself satisfied in your current professional role but are wanting to create new strategies for success, or if you want to actualize your desires for personal growth, I’m here to sort through the details with you and provide creative approaches to follow your passion, make a plan, and overcome any obstacle that might present itself.

About Me:

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado State University (CSU) in Communication Studies with a minor in Business Administration. My studies uncovered my passion for understanding how people relate to themselves and one another and how our personal and cultural narratives create our lived realities. As a University Honors Scholar, I had the opportunity to write an undergraduate thesis where I focused on the power of inspiration by studying viral TED Talks. This project taught me how much I crave learning about the latest and greatest ideas from people spanning the globe and how using those insights truly inspires listeners to be their best and gain deeper insights into the collective genius of leading experts from around the world.

Upon graduating with my Bachelor’s degree, I knew my journey was only beginning. I started my Master’s program at CSU right away to focus my unique skills and interests in the field of counseling. I completed my Master of Education in Education and Human Resource Studies from CSU, specializing in Counseling and Career Development. I am specifically trained in career counseling and college counseling and spent my time emphasizing how to help people feel whole. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Certified Career Counselor as well!

Throughout my own career journey, I have had the opportunity to work in both career counseling and exploratory academic advising to develop my niche of counseling and coaching combined with finding meaningful work and one’s purpose in the midst of transition and a changing world. As a holistic practitioner, I view my clients as the author of their own story and provide safe spaces for reflection, growth, healing, and development as we partner together in accomplishing therapeutic goals. Each client will show up with differing needs and I thrive in environments where I can use my counseling toolbox and authentic intuition in order to see my clients bring their full self into a session to then gain deeper insight into their inner logic and find pathways forward. Whether they are working toward personal, relational, or career goals, I can effectively manage a session to make it useful for my client!

Personally, I’m a huge fan of all things Colorado. Being born and raised here is the biggest blessing for me and has developed my love for beautiful places and getting outdoors. I also have a travel bug – whether it be road trips or plane trips – and my bucket list includes visiting every National Park. One of my past favorite jobs was as a barista at a co-working space and I am very proud of my skill in making latte art and designing chalk-board menus. I’ve also been a tour guide and bartender at a major brewery in Colorado. I’m currently starting a new adventure in homeownership with my husband and I’m a soon-to-be puppy mom!

I am available to meet with you in person at our DTC office location, as well as through online video.
